The Ordinary Nature Moisturizing Factors +HA instantly hydrates and supports healthy skin barriers with ingredients such as 11 amino acids and fatty acids.
Amino acids, the building blocks for skin proteins such as collagen and elastin keep your skin firm and elastic. They moisturize, provide moisture, and strengthen the skin’s barrier.
Other moisturizers include CeraVePM Facial Moisturizing lotion. This oil-free moisturizer is enriched with niacinamide for soothing the skin and hyaluronic acids for hydration. CeraVe also offers three essential ceramides that help strengthen the skin’s barrier.
This non-comedogenic moisturizer, which is suitable for oily to normal skin types, is very lightweight and won’t clog pores.
La Roche Posay Toleriane Dual Repair Face Moisturizer offers up to 48 hours of hydration thanks to its lightweight cream texture. It is rich in La Roche-Posay Prebiotic Water, which is rich in soothing and protective ingredients.

It has 4% titanium dioxide, 4% zinc oxide.
To counter any white casts that mineral sunscreens often leave, it’s tinted. It also contains Kakadu plum and eucalyptus as well as red algae, which are all rich in skin-protective antioxidants.

You can use them together if you want. Wait about 30 minutes after the peel for your skin to adjust to the new pH level before applying the niacinamide cream.
NOTE: The Ordinary recommends that you not use The Ordinary 100 Niacinamide Powder in conjunction with the peel. You should also ensure that your niacinamide serum does not contain any conflicting actives such as the ones listed above.

ALPHA hydroxy acids can make your skin more sensitive than usual. This is why sunscreen is essential for the first seven days and every day thereafter! Broad-spectrum sunscreens with an SPF 30 or greater are recommended.
Alternatives to the Standard Peeling Solution
The Ordinary’s Peeling Solutions is a popular product. It delivers results, but can be too harsh on some skin types. If you are sensitive or unable to tolerate the peel, there are alternatives.
The Ordinary Lactic Acid 5 % + HA (or 10% Concentration based on skin tolerance) are AHA-serums that are gentler than The Ordinary Peeling Solution, but offer more anti-aging benefits. They will brighten dull skin and smooth out fine lines.
Because of its moisturizing properties, lactic acid products are particularly good for dry skin types.
Another option is The Ordinary Glycolic acid 7% Toning Solution. It has 7% glycolic acid that will brighten, smoothen and refine your skin without being too irritating.
You may find the 7% concentration too strong for sensitive skin.
The Ordinary Malic Acid 10% + has 10% mandelic acids and is enriched in a type hyaluronic Acid, sodium hyaluronate mixpolymer that provides long-lasting moisture.
Alpha hydroxy acid Mandelic acid, which is derived from bitter almonds, is a form of Mandelic acid. It is more gentle than lactic acid and glycolic acids, but still offers chemical exfoliation benefits.
