Summer is the best season of the year. Do you agree? We New Yorkers remain in our homes from October to March, all thanks to the heavy snowfall and the cold. Summer is the only time when we step out and flaunt those curves in a little black dress.

So, are you planning to host a party for your friends and family? If yes, you’ve come to the right place. In this article today, I’m going to share with you some recipes to make your summer party a lot more exciting and fun. Have a look:

Different Flavors, Different Quiches

Not everyone is innovative when it comes to the menu of a party. People usually follow the conventional menu with those turkey sandwiches, pasta, pizza, and stuff. Well, I’m not up for anything conventional. I believe in offering a variety to your guests.

Quiches are amazing for such parties. As you know, there’s nothing like French cuisine. It’s a class on its own. However, when making a quiche, you must take care of the flavor. Make different quiches, a few with four kinds of cheese, a few with chicken, a few with all veggies, and a few with turkey.

Slow-Grilled Beef

Let’s forget about the old-school steaks for some time and stick to the slow-grilled beef. Steaks are available at all restaurants these days. Besides that, everyone has them at every dinner or brunch party. I won’t suggest you do the same.

You should go with the slow-grilled beef this time. It may take some time but it’s easier to prepare. Just be sure to make it with the undercut beef. Undercut beef is boneless and usually the softest to eat. Simply marinate it and grill it on slow heat for 2-3 hours.

Roasted Tomato Macaroni and Cheese

Now that you have an appetizer and a main course, let’s talk about the side. For the side, I would recommend you to make roasted tomato macaroni and cheese. Most people in my circle love tomato salad, so why not add it to the macaroni and make it a side with the slow-grilled beef?

It is one of the easiest recipes to prepare. Just boil some macaroni and keep it aside. After that, make some tomato paste, add all the flavors to it, and then mix the macaroni with the prepared mixture. It won’t take more than thirty minutes of your time. Great, eh?

Bite-Sized Desserts

Whether it’s a brunch or a dinner party, desserts are mandatory. On a lighter note, some people even claim that the dessert doesn’t go to their bellies, but their hearts. Thus, for the desserts, I would suggest you offer a similar variety. Just make sure to keep them bite-sized.

Oh, and please make sure to add weed brownies to the menu. I’m sure you’ll be surprised at the suggestion but the idea behind it is to have some fun. Having weed brownies once in a while won’t hurt anyone. Follow the good old brownies recipe and add 28 grams of Calgary in it for some excitement.

Martinis

Last but not least, you must make a bar for the martinis. After all, you need them to complete your summer party. Again, creating a bar will give your guests a variety and they will be at liberty to make their own martinis. Not everyone likes the same flavor, so it’s only fair.

From different flavors of vodka to tequila and frozen fruit chunks, make sure you have everything your guests would need. Oh, and don’t forget to have some umbrellas for the decoration. A martini looks incomplete without an umbrella attached to the glass.

Apart from the food menu, I suggest you keep a theme for your summer party. Talk to your friends and family about what they like and decide on a theme mutually. It will surely make your party more memorable.
