Method 2.1: Via Microsoft Download Page (Via Windows Computer)

Microsoft maintains its own ISO file archive for Windows 10, but it won’t let you download it if you have a Windows PC. Instead, it will prompt you to use its own tools to upgrade to the most recent version of Windows 10.

  • Windows 10 setup will now ask you for the product key. If you already have one, enter it. If you don’t have a product key, click “I don’t have a key” or “Do this later.”
  • Setup will prompt you to select the right edition for which you have a license, Home or Pro. If you select the wrong edition, you will need to do a fresh install.
  • Wait a bit, the system will prepare itself to copy files.
  • Accept the licence terms. Check the box next to “I accept the licence 
  • Click Next.
  • Click Custom: Only Install Windows (advanced).
  • Click Next to select the drive. If you have multiple partitions, click on each one from the bottom and then click on Delete until there is only one drive left.
  • Select the unallocated drive and click New > Apply > OK.
  • To select the primary partition from multiple parts, click Next.
  • Wait for Windows to install.
  • After all the setup is complete, Windows will automatically reboot into the setup.
  • Windows will then detect and install the hardware. It will then restart.
