Every business on the planet exists within a community. That’s why B Corps are committed to giving back. Did you know that B Corp employees spent over 2,775,000 hours doing community service (while being paid by their employers) over the past 15 years?
The term ‘responsible business’ is used a lot. But as a business, who are we actually being responsible to? Companies that are B Corp Certified commit themselves to being responsible towards their workers, customers, communities, and the planet.
And they prove it by making their impact report available to the public. It’s the responsible thing to do. That’s why you should support these companies and their products. Vegan skincare and beauty businesses tend to be more environmentally friendly. Same goes for clean skincare companies. They come up with healthy and plant-based alternatives to synthetic ingredients.
One good example is a plant called bakuchiol – this is a natural alternative to chemical retinol. Plant Mother’s retinol serum is a great vegan retinol made with bakuchiol. Plants are powerful vegan alternatives to harsh and often toxic chemicals that many synthetic skincare and beauty products contain. – You can take photos of individual items and mix and match them in order to create new outfits
– You can take photos of your outfits and store them in a separate album on your phone or on your computer and organize them in a way that makes sense for you
– You can use apps such as “whering” which allow you to store your items individually, but also create outfits or lookbooks and plan your outfits in advance.
