Beijing-based Laiye, a company that develops robotic process automation (RPA) software, has raised $50 million in a Series C funding round, according to a report by TechCrunch. The funding round was led by existing investor Sequoia Capital China, with participation from new investors such as Northern Light Venture Capital and ZhenFund. The company will use the funding to expand its RPA software offerings, which are designed to help businesses automate repetitive tasks, and to further develop its AI-based platform. Laiye’s RPA software is used by over 1,000 enterprise customers globally, including companies in finance, healthcare, and manufacturing sectors. The company has raised $70 million to date, including this latest round.
